Hit-and-Run Crash Injures Pedestrian
On Sunday, a pedestrian was struck by a hit-and-run driver in the Little Italy area of San Diego. The wreck happened just before 2:00 a.m. on Kettner Boulevard between Hawthorn and Grape Streets. According to CBS News Channel Eight, a small silver foreign car struck the woman as she was attempting to cross Kettner Boulevard. The victim, a woman in her 20’s, was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
The driver didn’t stop, and no information has been released on whether or not they’ve tracked him or her down. The victim reportedly had a fractured eye socket and jaw, but her condition wasn’t considered to be life threatening.
